Bob Friscia

Bob found his passion for boating at a young age - while living in New York, he spent his summers with his family on board their sportfish navigating around the northeastern areas of the US, and he eventually obtained his own water toys to enjoy on Candlewood Lake in Connecticut. While up north, Bob started his career in the automobile industry working for Audi and then transitioned to Porsche, where he spent 10 years developing strong customer-relation skills. His experience and skill set helped him excel as a top service advisor in his dealership for 4 years in a row and earned him the title of Master Brand Ambassador for Porsche. 

After moving from Connecticut to Florida in 2015, his love for the water was rekindled as he spent weekends fishing in the Florida Keys with friends on their center consoles. Bob decided to follow his passion and make a transition into the yachting industry, joining Horizon Yachts in early 2019 and bringing with him valuable experience and success in client relations. During his 4 years with Horizon he gained a wealth of knowledge in the 70-140ft motor yacht segment, both in new construction as well as brokerage and had the opportunity to work with various well-known designers. He has recently joined the Ocean Independence team in Ft Lauderdale in order to further his career and looks forward to developing relationships with existing and new clients, helping them find their next dream yacht. 

Away from work, Bob enjoys spending time with his family, offroad adventures and playing sports with his son as well as travelling.
